For the last few weeks, Samsung has been under a lot of controversy over the smartphones that catch fire. The company has been trying their best to avoid the situation from getting uglier, and is doing a good job at it. Over 2.5 Million Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones have been recalled. The company is now working towards launching more phones. The latest that we hear, Samsung is soon expected to launch their upcoming smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy On8 in India.

The information comes via teasers from popular Indian e-tailer, Flipkart. The company has been releasing various teasers of this upcoming Samsung smartphone under the tagline ‘The next On’. Samsung, with the release of the Samsung Galaxy On8, is targeting the festive season in India. October is the time when the Indians celebrate various festivals, and is the peak season for all kinds of sales. Samsung Galaxy On8 is expected to release at a time when Flipkart would be observing the ‘Big Billion Day’. This is the time when the company offers the biggest discounts of the year, and targets massive sales.

Not much is known about the Samsung Galaxy On8 as of now. However, what we do know is that the smartphone would be featuring a super-AMOLED screen with a full-HD display. As of now this is the only available information about the device. Samsung is fresh off the release of the Samsung Galaxy J7 and the Samsung Galaxy J5 in the Indian smartphone markets, and with the Samsung Galaxy On8 now coming out, it will help boot the company by another major step.
