Samsung is among the biggest names when it comes to the world of smartphone technology. The company has been coming out with a number of innovative devices over the years. Their latest flagship smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus were launched in India last month, and have been fairly successful. India is one of the biggest markets for Samsung, and Samsung is the top player in the nation. Samsung has today launched a more powerful variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus in India.
This newly launched variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus comes out into the markets with a massive 128 GB storage, and would run on 6 GB of RAM. This is more powerful when compared to the regular variant that comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage space. This 6GB RAM variant comes only for the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, and not the Samsung Galaxy S8.
This 6GB RAM variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 74,990. This makes it one of the most expensive smartphones in India. The 6GB RAM variant of the S8 Plus is priced in at Rs. 10,090 more than the regular Galaxy S8 Plus which comes out at a price of Rs. 64,900.
Samsung has announced that this 6GB RAM variant of the S8 Plus would go on pre-orders from tomorrow, the 2nd of June. This would be exclusive to the Samsung Shop and Flipkart for now. Those buying this phone would get a free Wireless Charger bundled in. The charger usually costs Rs. 4,499. However, it is free with this S8 Plus 6GB RAM variant. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus 6GB RAM variant would come out only in the Midnight Blue color variant. While some nations would get the phone running on the Snapdragon 835, in India the phone would run on the Samsung Exynos 8895 SoC.
