Nokia is among the biggest, most popular brands on the planet when it comes to mobile phones and smartphone technology. One of the biggest tech stories of the year has been the return of Nokia into the smartphone markets, stronger and more prepared than ever before. The phones are being made by HMD Global, and they have today launched in India. All three of the phones, the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 were announced today. Pricing and Availability details have now been announced as well.
Nokia 3, the first of the three phones to be announced, will go on sale in three days. On the 16th of June, the phone will be available on Amazon. It has been priced in at Rs. 9,900 and is all set to be the most basic of the three devices. The phone offers a 5 inched display along with a Mediatek MT6737 processor. Nokia 3 features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. This is the first phone that will be made available on Amazon. This is the only phone to run on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS (while the other two would feature the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS)
Nokia 5, which is better than the Nokia 3 but ranks lower than the Nokia 6 is all set to be made available for pre-bookings on the 7th of July. The phone comes out at a price of Rs. 12, 990 and will be an Amazon exclusive. The device runs on a Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage space. The phone offers a 5.2 inched display. Nokia 5 comes with a 3000mAh battery. The phone runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.
Nokia 6, the highest ranked phone among the three devices that Nokia launched today, comes out into the markets with a Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 processor. The phone features 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage space. It features a 5.5 inched display. A 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant was expected but it wasn’t announced. The Nokia 6 will be made available on a flash sale on the 14th of July. The phone comes in at a price of Rs. 14,999.
