Tuesday, the 13th of June is less than 10 days from today. Come the 13th, Nokia is going to launch their gen-next Android smartphones - Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 in India. The first two devices were launched during the Mobile World Congress event in February, while the third one was launched earlier in January in China, but has since been coming out for more nations. The trio are now set to make their debut in India.
The Nokia 3310, which was also announced at the MWC 2017 is already out in India and has been selling well. The phone is in a high demand and a similar effect will be seen once the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 come out. India has been among the biggest markets for Nokia in the past. However, now that they are all set to return, donning the Android OS this time, the company is anxious to know how the markets will respond.
The Nokia 6, which came out in China first was sold out in less than sixty seconds, making it officially a ‘hit’. The Indian smartphone markets too, are known for these sensational numbers, and Nokia being a brand every man, woman and child in the country knows, it is likely to generate a lot of buzz. This event will be held by HMD Global, the company that now manufactures Nokia branded mobile phones.
