Samsung, the leading smartphone company in the country launched Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) tablet along with the S Pen. Today company has unveiled Samsung Galaxy Tab in South Korea at a price of SKW 489,000 (Equivalent to Rs 29,500). Back in May 2016, the company has launched Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1(2016) with two variants Wi-Fi and LTE priced at EUR 289 (roughly 22,000) and EUR 349 (roughly Rs. 26,500) respectively.
The tab features a SIM card slot with 4G LTE. The Tab features a 10.1-inch WUXGA display with 1920×1200 pixel resolution. The device is powered by 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor clocked at 3GB of RAM. While, the older version of the device has 2GB of RAM. Samsung Tab A 10.1 (2016) with S Pen runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box.
The Tab features an 8MP of rear camera with LED flash and 2MP of front facing camera. Another special feature of the rear camera is it can record videos in 1080p at 30fps.The device has 32GB of internal memory which can be further expanded to 256GB via MicroSD card. As per the connectivity options, it supports 4G LTE ,WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, and a micro USB port. Galaxy Tab A is backed by a 7300mAh battery of large battery. The tab measures 254.3×164.2×8.2mm and weighs 558 grams. The Tab will be available in black color only.
S-Pen now comes with various special features like Air Command feature which allow you to translate the words in images and text documents. Other features include creating and sharing of GIF with the smart select tool and a new tool allows the user to combine handwritten notes, draw & also edit memo from a single location. One of the main features of Tab is it allows the user to identify the levels of pressure and make thinner lines by pressing harder.
