Philips has unveiled its first 4K OLED TV at the IFA Event. The OLED TV consists of iconic Ambilight Technology. Currently, LG has the best OLED TVs. Samsung will come into the competition by unveiling quantum dots.

TP Vision is the well-known brand for selling of TV sets under the Philips. Philips 901F has a wide 55inch display which comes with Perfect Pixel Ultra HD engine and produces superior black levels that most of the others, the company said in its release. The Perfect Pixel Ultra HD engine has an unbelievable Processing Power of 4 billion pixels which allow the system to continually monitor and adjust each individual pixel for sharpness and brightness, creating finer lines and deeper detail, Philips said at its release.

In Philips Ambilight technology, the TV produces lights from its three sides while in correspondence with the colors displayed on the tube. This is made for ultra-colorful demos, it reduces eye-strain while watching movies in a dark room. A more important feature includes an integrated 6.1 channel, 30-watt sound bar. Android Smart TV is integrated into the Philips TV by which you can access all the TV Oriented apps, content and services from the Google Play. On of  the quite exciting thing is remote features a QWERTY Keyboard So Viewers won’t be stuck while typing in an inconvenient On Screen Keyboard.

One of the awesome features is, the panel of the TV is head turner which gives 540-nit peak-light performance and the Perfect Contrast system. In the TV, Perfect Color system has been inserted with a 17-bit color processor and smart color processing for with bright whites, deep blacks and realistic skin tones.

The price of the TV has not been made public but it is expected that TV is expected to ship at the end of this year.
