OnePlus has been working on their upcoming flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 5 for quite a while. OnePlus has confirmed that they are working on the phone, and that the phone will be numbered ‘5’. However, what we don’t know about this phone is its launch date. As of now the only information we had was via a leaked e-mail that claimed the phone would launch on the 15th of June. However, today we have spotted another instance - a leaked poster this time, proclaiming the launch to be held on the same date.
The leaked poster comes in the classic red and white colors that signify the OnePlus brand. It features the date prominently, and for the second time it has been speculated that the phone would indeed launch on the 15th of June. The OnePlus 5 is among the most awaited smartphones of the year and the launch is likely to get global attention. In just 2 weeks from today, the phone finally launches!
Based on what we know about the device, the OnePlus 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor, as confirmed by the company. OnePlus has also teased that the phone would come out with a 3.5mm jack, but this time it would be placed on the top. Color variants of the phone have also been spotted, and the company said that a new ‘unicorn’ color variant is about to be launched.
The OnePlus 5 is all set to come out in the next two weeks, and it would feature a dual camera on the back, featuring two 16MP+16MP cameras. As of now we are not sure what kind of a lens the other camera would carry. However, the camera department is something OnePlus has always impressed us with. The phone would feature a 5.5 inch display, and would come out with 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of storage space.
