The company has been around for a little over three years, and has been doing some good work in the markets. While the OnePlus and OnePlus 2 were huge successes, the OnePlus 3 too, broke all records and was a massive seller. The company is already working on their gen-next device, which is an upgraded version of the OnePlus 3, it has now leaked and is known as the OnePlus 3T.
OnePlus 3T is speculated to come out into the markets with many new features. The current expectation is that it would give the Google Pixel devices a run for their money. It has been speculated that the device will now come with features that address many problems that the OnePlus 3 users were facing. Most important of these upgrades would be the inclusion of an upgraded processor. This new and improved processor is likely to be the gen-next Snapdragon processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821.
There have been no official words on the OnePlus 3T yet, but the information has come via Weibo, where various details about the smartphone have come to light. The Weibo post indicates that the smartphone would release with an improved Snapdragon 821 processor, upgraded from the Snapdragon 820. In addition to that, the device would feature the latest version of the Android OS, the Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The smartphone would still have the OxygenOS running on top of the Android OS. OnePlus had earlier commented that they are no longer going to create devices marked X.
