OnePlus has been under lot of heat from their users over undelivered promises. On their part the company has indeed been trying their best. They have now released their latest OxygenOS Open Beta Builds for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users.
The update comes out to the users who are registered with the OnePlus Beta Program. For the users of the OnePlus 3, this update rolls out in the form of OxygenOS Open Beta version 14, and for the users of the OnePlus 3T this update comes out as the OxygenOS Open Beta version 5. While different version numbers are assigned to both the devices, the update is pretty much the same and one common changelog has been released by OnePlus.
The latest OxygenOS Open Beta brings along the following changes -
- Bluetooth improvements
- Clock widget improvements
- Dark theme improvements
- Translation improvements
- GPS optimizations
- Launcher optimizations
- Night Mode optimizations
- Updated community app to 1.8
The members of the OnePlus Open Beta program seem to be getting frequent updates and it has indeed been working out well for the company. With the latest update they have also released a large number of bug fixes which will help the devices perform in a much better manner.
The size for both the OxygenOS Open Beta updates is that of 1.46 GB, and they need to be installed into the device by sideloading them manually. These are not the regular OTA updates. Users are advised to back up their phones and to ensure that they have a charged their battery to a maximum level before installing this update.
