While we know Apple to be one of the top names when it comes to the world of innovation in technology, credit must be given to other contemporary brands such as Samsung! Samsung has been coming out with various innovative smartphones of late. The latest Samsung Galaxy Folder smartphone, Samsung’s flip device based on the Android OS is all set to come out into the markets.
Samsung tends to release various off-beat phones for local markets. The Samsung Galaxy Folder phones have been around for a while, and this gen-next Samsung Galaxy Folder smartphone will be coming out in the months to follow. This new phone will feature various high-end features such as wireless charging, NFC, Samsung Pay, as well as a fingerprint scanner.
“I cannot confirm the launch date but the new phone will be launched soon in Korea,” said an official of a local telecom carrier. This source also comments that the price of the device would be a little higher than usual. This new smartphone will carry the SM-W2017 model name, and has been certified by the Wireless Power Consortium.
Speculations hint at the phone coming out with features such as a 4.2 inched display along with a Snapdragon 430 processor. The phone is expected to be powered by a 2300mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy Folder is likely to feature a 12 MP camera as well as a 5 MP front camera. As of now we do not have an idea on when Samsung would release this device.
This phone is expected to come out into the Korean markets only, and might not get an international release. This has been the trend with most of Samsung’s niche releases.
