Moto X4 To Launch on 2nd September

Motorola’s 2017 Moto X smartphone, the Moto X4 is all set to launch on the 2nd of September, as teased by the company on social media. The fourth generation Moto X smartphone is a much awaited device as it comes out after a really long time since the last Moto X phone came out. Motorola did not release a Moto X smartphone last year. However, the gen-next phone is launching before the week ends!

The Moto X4 launch has been teased for the 2nd of September, which is this Saturday. The launch of the phone takes place in Philippines at the hellomoto X event. This event will be live streamed on the page at 6PM PHT. The event is being hyped by actors Nadine Lustre and James Reid who are known as ‘Jadine’.

There have been a number of leaks which have hinted towards the features and specifications of the Moto X4. However, in four days, the company will officially unveil the phone and all the features will then become public knowledge. Here’s what we know so far:

Moto X4 Specifications 

Of what we learnt from leaks and tips, it is expected that the Moto X4 will come out into the markets with a 5.2 inched full-HD AMOLED display. The phone will run on the Snapdragon 630 processor along with the Adreno 508 GPU. The phone is expected to be powered by 4GB of RAM. In addition to this, 64GB of built-in, expandable storage is also expected.

Moto X4 will feature dual cameras on the back. The phone is said to come out with two 12 MP rear cameras, where one of them will feature an RGB lens and the other will feature a monochrome lens. The front camera is expected to feature a 16 MP lens. The Moto X4 will be powered by a 3000mAh battery and will run on Android Nougat OS, with a guaranteed update to Android Oreo (and possibly Android P).
