Lenovo launched Moto G4 Play a budget smartphone for Indian users on Amazon India at a price of Rs 8,999. The phone is available in two colour variants i.e. Black and white.
The smartphone is already available in Canada since last month and Company is going to launch G4 Play in the US on 15th of September. Moving towards the specifications of the device, G4 Play displays 5inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. The device comes with Android Marshmallow out of the box and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC paired with Adreno 306 GPU. Smartphone sports 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded to 128GB via MicroSD card.
The other specs of the device include 8MP of rear camera and 5MP of front facing camera. As per the connectivity options, the device supports Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n , GPS and 4G LTE. It has 2800mAh of battery and company claims that device will run for a whole day on a single charge. Apart from this, Motorola claims that its 10W rapid charger supports Quick Charging which provides 5 hrs of battery life in just 15 mins of charge.
Motorola is going to launch the new smartphone in its E-series called Moto E3 on the 19th of September. It is also expected that Motorola will launch Moto Z smartphones in India later at the end of this year.
