LG has been among the biggest names when it comes to the world of consumer technology across the planet. The company has also been a giant in the world of smartphone technology. Their flagship smartphones, which come out twice a year, the LG G series and the LG V series are among their biggest launches. After successfully launching the LG G6 earlier this year, LG is all set to launch the LG V30 over the summer. Latest reports indicate that this launch will take place at the IFA 2017 in Berlin.

The LG V30 is expected to come out at the press conference just before IFA 2017 begins. This event will likely be held on the 31st of August. The phone is expected to come out into the markets with a large display, possibly 5.8 inches or larger. The display will be made of OLED Panel which will be produced by LG themselves. The LG V30 is expected to run on the Snapdragon 835 processor. While LG missed the boat with the LG G6, this processor is almost certainly coming to the V30.

Similar to how we saw the LG V20 being the first phone to release with the Android Nougat OS, it is expected that LG V30 will be the first smartphone to come with the Android O Operating System out-of-the-box. The phone is likely to feature a 6GB RAM, along with variants of 32, 64 and 128GB of storage. The V30 is also going to feature a secondary screen which has been the highlight of the V-series devices. Dual Cameras too, are almost certain.

The LG V30 launching at the IFA 2017 means LG will be going head to head with Samsung. Samsung, which is gearing up to launch their Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone is also expected to make their announcement at the same event. Stay tuned with us for more details on the IFA 2017.
