The K8 Note was being expected for quite some time. Lenovo then began to tease it in social media with teasers showing the letter 8. As announced, the phone launched today at an event in New Delhi. Lenovo K8 Note Specifications
Lenovo’s latest flagship smartphone comes out into the markets with a 5.5 inched display. The phone offers a vibrant display with a brightness of 450 nits. The screen comes with a 2.5D Curved glass on top and offers a resolution of 1080 x 1920p full-HD. The K8 Note supports dual nano SIM cards.
The phone is powered by a deca-core MediaTek MT6797 SoC with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.85GHz, and two Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.3GHz. It comes out in two variants - featuring 3GB and 4GB of RAM. The 3GB RAM features a storage space of 32GB while the 4GB RAM variant offers a storage space of 64GB. Both these storages can be expanded with MicroSD cards.
Lenovo K8 Note will come out in two color variants - Venom Black and Fine Gold. The phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. This is the first major Lenovo device to come out with stock Android OS. It was officially announced recently that the Vibe UI will no longer be used by Lenovo.
One of the biggest draws of the Lenovo K8 Note is the fact that it comes with a dual camera on the back. The primary camera offers a 13MP resolution while the secondary camera on the back is actually a depth sensor which features a 5MP lens. Together, the two cameras help click pictures which showcase the depth of field. The phone features a dual LED flash on the back as well. The front camera also features a 13MP resolution and comes with a front facing flash.
