- Open the app at 5:30 PM
- Inside the app you will see a banner on top that will take you to the booking page
- Enter your information that the page asks you about
- Pay Rs. 500
- You will get a Jio Phone booking confirmation message on your phone.
How to Book Jio Phone via Jio Website
- Log on to the Jio.com website at or after 5:30 PM.
- On top of the page you will see a big banner that says ‘Book Jio Phone’. Click on it.
- It will take you to the Jio Phone booking page.
- Over there, fill in the details the website asks of you.
- Pay Rs. 500
- You will get a Jio Phone booking confirmation message on your phone.
How to Book Jio Phone via Offline Jio Stores
- Visit your nearest offline Jio Store at or after 5:30 PM
- Over there the people in charge would take your personal details such as AADHAAR etc.
- Pay Rs. 500 to them.
- They will give you a receipt after this is done.
- You will get a Jio Phone booking confirmation message on your phone.
These are the only three ways in which you can book Jio Phone.
For those wondering why they have to pay Rs. 500 during Jio Phone booking, don’t worry this will be deducted from the final price. When you get the phone delivered to you, you will need to pay only Rs. 1000. The effective price of the Jio Phone is still Rs. 1500 as promised.
The 500 you paid while Jio Phone booking process as well as the 1000 that you paid during the delivery will be returned to you after 36 months if you wish to return the phone. The phone has been promoted heavily as ‘India ka Smartphone’ and was announced in July by Mukesh Ambani himself during the Reliance Industries Annual General Meeting 2017.
