Blu, the US manufacturer has launched Blu Vivo 5R in its home country at a price of $199 which is equivalent to Rs 13,500. The smartphone is available in Gun Metal Grey and White-Gold colours on Amazon.com and Bestbuy. The device will be shipped from 21st September.
The company says that Blu Vivo 5R is the follower of Blu Vivo 5 launched earlier in February. Blu Vivo 5R sports 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek 6753 processor clubbed with Mali-T720 graphics GPU. The device has 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal memory which can be further expanded to 64GB via MicroSD card.
The smartphone comprises of metal unibody and also appear with the fingerprint sensor on the back panel. The smartphone has a thickness of 6.1mm and comes with Android Marshmallow out of the box. The Camera Specs include 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX258 sensor, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and 8MP front facing camera with LED light. The smartphone supports DTH Sound Surround Technology.
As per the connectivity options, the Vivo 5R sports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, Type C-USB, and A-GPS, apart from 4G LTE. The smartphone is powered by 3150mAh of Li-Polymer battery and also supports Quick Charging. The measurement of the device is 154.5 x 75.6 x 8.3. As for now, the company has not revealed any of the details when the device will be available in the other countries.
